This pair of sterling silver cufflinks feature the Hebrew symbol Chai, meaning life, or long life. Each cufflink features the Hebrew letter Het (ח) and Yud (י). A common Jewish toast is “l’chaim!,” which means, “to life!.” It is said at celebrations in anticipation of all the good things to come. These cufflinks would make a great gift for a bar mitzvah celebration. Each cufflink features a different style; one with the symbol cut out of silver and one made from silver, giving the set a wonderful contrast.

We hand cut each individual cufflink out of a sheet of sterling silver, which we then solder onto another sheet of silver, before we sand the edges or a seamless join. Finally we oxidise the underside, which allows it to change them from black to a wonderful hue of colours over time.

  • Features the Hebrew symbol Chai, meaning ‘Life’
  • Handmade to order in our workshop in Bramley, Leeds
  • A perfect gift for a Jewish friend
  • Presented in a leatherette box
  • Theses cufflinks measure 16mm x 16mm
  • They fit comfortably onto the shirt cuff
  • Discounts are available for weddings if you’re buying additional pairs
